Protecting civil liberties means allowing artists to explore the full spectrum of the human experience. Protecting expression means ensuring that individuality isn't suppressed by shifting standards or Harassment.
We maintain that artistic intent matters. Creativity flourishes best when individuals are trusted to explore complex themes. As the operators of this platform, we rely on a clear, defining standard to judge expression upon Layenet:
"We declare that a work is permitted if, taken as a whole, it appeals to the interests of individuals or the progress of humanity, as long as it is not devoid of any literary, artistic, political, or scientific value."

To protect the open nature of fiction, we separate it entirely from the liabilities of physical reality. All content upon Layenet must be 2D. By removing real-life photography and live-action media, we ensure that everything housed here is inherently a product of the imagination.
Structural Integrity
Our limits exist solely to protect the platform’s resources and to maintain a fair ecosystem for all:
- Upload Limits: Standard accounts are limited to 5 uploads daily to prevent server abuse and bot-driven congestion.
- Infrastructure Protection: We take a zero-tolerance stance against DDoS attacks or any automated attempts to bypass site security.
- Privacy Preservation: Any attempt to de-mask anonymous creators or breach the privacy-by-design architecture is a violation of the site's core foundation.
Contextual Judgment
Balancing civil liberties with community requires nuance. We reject blanket, zero-context censorship, but we also recognize that a platform must enforce its guidelines to protect its users from harassment and infrastructure threats.
